How the company visa route works
Once your licence is issued, the company obtains an establishment card, its immigration file with the authorities. Against that file we apply for your entry permit, convert your status in-country or on arrival, complete the medical test and biometrics, and finish with the Emirates ID and the residence stamp. The chain takes one to two weeks once the licence exists.
Shareholder visas typically run two years in free zones. Employees follow the same chain under your quota, and once your own visa is active you can sponsor your spouse, children and, subject to salary thresholds, parents.

- Entry permit and status change: AED 1,500 to 2,500
- Medical test: AED 350 to 750 depending on speed

How long can I stay outside the UAE without losing residency?
Standard residence visas lapse after 180 consecutive days outside the country. Golden visa holders are exempt from this rule. Founders running UAE companies from abroad time their visits accordingly, and we flag the rule before it bites.
Can my family get visas through my company?
Yes. Once your own residence visa is stamped you sponsor your spouse and children directly. You will need a tenancy or suitable accommodation proof and to meet the salary threshold, currently AED 4,000 or AED 3,000 plus accommodation.
Do I need to be in the UAE for the process?
For the medical and biometrics, yes, one visit of a few days usually covers both. Everything before that point runs remotely.
