Dubai Production City, still widely known by its old name IMPZ, is the emirate's cluster for graphic industries: commercial printers, packaging converters, signage fabricators and publishers operate from industrial units engineered for their machinery.

Why is it still called IMPZ?
The zone launched as International Media Production Zone and the abbreviation stuck to the district, its exits and its towers. Licences today are issued under the Dubai Production City name.
Can I run heavy printing machinery here?
Yes, the industrial units carry the power capacity and approvals for commercial presses and converting lines. We confirm unit specifications against your equipment list during scoping.
Does a publisher need to be in Production City?
Editorial-only businesses can license in Media City. Production City earns its place when print runs, stock and machinery enter the picture.
